Marking Period Post

So we are here again:

Marking period 3, It's crazy that its over already. You know I'm not very good at these but here I go. Marking period 3 for me was a struggle. This was with personal reasons and lack of motivation. It's crazy how far motivation takes you. Anyways obviously I didn't have the greatest marking period as I wanted. I wanted to do so much and I did so little.

What did I do this Marking Period?

Good question. Well I started the marking period doing a logo design for someone but decided to say no to that project after my lack of motivation took over. The logo was half way done and I never wanted to work on it so I decided it was time to stop. I did work in Illustrator more, making new designs and messing around with old stuff. 

These are just some things I made and I think they turned out nice and I made the leafs one into a sweatshirt.

I felt as I didn't do a whole lot and I decided to make for more hockey montages and I will warn you some have swearing in the lyrics so sorry not sorry, This is high school and if you can't listen to swear words still...oops. Anyways the first video is of my favorite rookies playing the game right now. Nico Hischier, Mathew Barzel, and Brock Boeser. (In that order). 

The next video is of one of my favorite players, Sidney Crosby doing Sidney Crosby things. He's on another level.

The third video was kinda a joking fun video because of what the announcer says after he scores. "the daddy remains hot" like try and tell me that's not funny.

The 4th video is of a Prospect for the Pittsburgh Penguins and I felt the need to throw it back to his college days. Where he was pretty good.

The last video that I did was of a very nice goal and I thought lets make a montage of that one play so I did and here it is Mitch Marner and my favorite hockey youtuber Steve Dangle.

Anyways that's what I did this marking period and that's all I have to show you, I'll try to make more things this next marking period even with the art festival thing upcoming.  I need to turn it up to overdrive.

What Happened!?!?!

Truth be told I didn't do a whole lot and I missed last weeks post (of course). Again truth be told I was lazy. I've mainly just started getting a little peed off because Adobe LOVES to crash on me while saving so it doesn't save the work I do. It's making it hard to do designs and its making me very unmotivated.

I have taken some things to make into a design ideas but Adobe is absolute CRAP.

This Week in My Life

Just how much work did I do?

That's a good question, how much work did I do? Well truthfully I didn't do much this week other than working on the logo design which I may restart on. If I can find away around not drawing the design again I'm going for it.

In other news I made progress on another design I haven't gotten to work on in a while. The more I work in this program the more I like it and get better at it!

Yes I Know I Missed Last Weeks Post

Alright so last week I didn't get to do much, actually nothing at all due to me being gone all week. So this week i wanted to get more done and that's kinda what i did. Okay so all week i have been working on a logo design for, well don't know if i can say. This week didn't start out good at all due to me getting into a car accident so immediately I didn't have much motivation for the week but I pushed through and made real nice work on the logo design.

I do something!

So this week I have been working in Illustrator working on a sweatshirt design that I actually got printed on to a sweatshirt! Pictures of it is soon to come as I'm going to Canada next week and will be wearing it there.

I started on a new design and brainstormed ideas for ones too. Other than working in Illustrator outside of school i have been working with Reilly on a film idea we came up with. It's not even a serious film. It's kind of like a mini series of films.

What Have I been doing this week?

The answer may shock you!

Well I started to think more with possible designs for t shirts or sweatshirts so when i remembered in a couple weeks ill be going to Canada, i should make a design for me to wear to make it look like i like the local hockey team. My idea is to take The Toronto Maple Leafs logo and put 3 specific numbers in the leaf and make is say "The Future". 

That's not all i did this week, i actually made another hockey edit that has swearing in the song so if you want to hear/see it tell me and i will post it.

Blog Post review type thing

So this isn't everyone's posts but it's a couple like what we are to do this week.


Garrett S. is working on making his own book and honestly it sounds awesome and it's amazing that he is even writing a book in high school. I could never do that and I give mad respect to him for creating this whole world and people and everything inside of the book.


Keaton is continuing to work on this virtual reality scene on a space ship in space (obliviously). He added in actual people now and lasers from them shooting and he also went very in depth on how the people look and you couldn't even tell from the pictures until he showed it up close! What he is doing is simply amazing and I can't wait to see the final project.


Jesse Y. is continuing to work on his donuts animation and luckily I sit right next to him so see it everyday. Right now he is working on the Dunking Donuts building that the donuts will be fighting over. You know first in the year i thought this is a joke but now i want to see the finished project badly.

Marking Period Blog Post

First off, yes this is late. I was dumb and left all my stuff at school, anyways so back for this again yay! So just like last post I really didn't do that much this marking period due to me just slacking off and yes I'm being honest. For awhile I didn't know what I wanted to do so I just kind of didn't work or did stuff I worked on last year. Which I can put below but I hate people seeing what I make (which is kind of ironic but knowing my school and classmates it's a good idea for me not too). If you don't know what I worked on last year I did like hockey edits/montages because I love hockey.

Here's one I made not too long ago when Team Canada's World Juniors team won gold. It's not great and none of them are so yeah that's why I don't show them.

Last Two Weeks of 2nd Marking Period
Anyway with probably 2 weeks left in the marking period I started working in Adobe Illustrator so I can go into graphics after school. I learned some basic things and I'm working on a little bit of a project like a shirt or sweatshirt design. Here are some Screenshots showing what I'm kind of doing.

A bit weird for a penguins fan to make a design for Austin Matthews (a Toronto Maple Leaf player) but he's one of my favorite players that aren't on the Penguins so I said why not lets try something and see where I can take it. I will also luckily get to see him play in person as I'm going to Canada for a hockey trip in February. 

 So this one is of Justin Schultz one of my favorite Penguins player and this one makes a bit more sense for me to make seeing he plays for the Pens. Anyways I don't like it a lot but I haven't really done anything with it.
